Big Shot Basket Ideas: Scallop Circle Punch

This is the final project for my current Stamps in the Mail Club Round. I’ve had so much fun designing projects with the Oval All stamp set this past 3 months, but I’m excited to move on to the next round, which begins in August!

The new round features the new In Color Stampin’ Write Markers, plus the Hello Again stamp set (also available as Hola De Nuevo). If you want to check out the details on the new round, you can get them on my website

Back to the current project ;-)

Brief Instructions:

basketgutsThe box/basket here is created from a piece of 3 x 9″ Designer Series Paper and 2 Scallop Circles cut with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine.

basket-how-toStart with the 3 x 9″ Designer Series Paper. Score on the long sides at 1/2″ and score at 3″ on the short sides. Cut 1/2″ along the short score lines to create flaps. Fold the flaps and adhere with Sticky Strip to form a box shape (see photo), and attach 2 Scallop Circles to make the front and back of the basket. Fold the excess from each Scallop Circle underneath to the bottom of the basket.

Punch holes for the ribbon handles and attach.

Do you love projects like this? If so, you should think about joining the next round of my Stamps in the Mail Club. As a example, the members of my current Stamps in the Mail Club received this project with 2 pages of directions, 5 photos and an Exclusive Video Tutorial. Plus they received a packet of pre-cut cardstock and embellishments, ready to stamp and assemble for this project plus 3 others. YOU CAN BE PART OF THE CLUB, TOO!
