WOW Watercolor Block Printing with Stampin’ Up!®’s NEW Homemade Sweetness Suite Collection

Want to fill your cup (okay jar)? The Watercolor Block Print Technique is ideal for the Filled With Sweetness bundle jar. Just pick your colors and add a cute lid (there’s a stamp for that).

The fold for this card is a little bit extra special – after folding the normal card in half, fold the right card edge back to the spine to create a zig zag fold, known as a Z fold. This extra panel is where the card front is attached, which allows the artwork on the front of the card to be seen even when the card is opened.

Watercolor Block Printing is a beautiful technique that works best with the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Apply ink directly to a clean (very clean) Clear Acrylic Block, then spritz with water using the fine mist Stampin’ Spritzers. Blot the ink once if you like or apply directly to a square of watercolor paper. Have a tissue ready to dry up excess liquid when you lift – be sure to get the tips from the video tutorial.

Be sure to stamp inside your card – just a little strawberry peeking out, with a repetition of the Watercolor Block Print, adds an extra special touch.
