Seriously, I do love this punch. Did I mention that I own two of them? Yup, the same punch. I use it so often that when I design projects for classes or clubs, I just *need* to add a Scallop Edge Punch piece to more than one card! (#112091, $10.99 on sale through July 5th, reg. $15.95)
Here’s a fun card using two pieces of Scallop Edge in Chocolate Chip. Layer the punched pieces together and curl them up a bit for extra dimension. Plus the Upsy Daisy stamp set makes everything look fabulous! Did you know the Upsy Daisy pattern is out in Decor Elements now?! Really! I have a set ready to apply to the front of my laptop–I’ll be posting it soon! If you haven’t seen the new Definitely Decorative Catalog, you can download the pdf.
Here are two more projects with the Scallop Edge Punch. The first reminds me to gush about the NEW Stampin’ Up! Hearts & Brackets Big Shot Die (115955, $17.95). I’m SO excited about this die. Brackets are everywhere I look… scrapbooking magazines, card samples, on my own blog ;-) so I’m really happy to be able to make as many brackets as I want.
**TIP** Plus with my Big Shot, I can apply Designer Series Paper to the chipboard first, then put the chipboard through the Big Shot, and my chipboard piece will have perfectly matching paper with no sanding or trimming!
And this little gift bag project is quick and cute, and of course features the Scallop Edge Punch. The bottom scallop edge perfectly echoes the Scallop Circle Punch piece. The stamp set used for the little birdie is Nursery Necessities.
