Stamp & Share: April Demonstrator Fun

One of my favorite Demonstrator “perks” is our chance to get together each month to share and see new stamping ideas. These are a few of the pictures from our April LovenStampfuls “Stamp & Share” event.

Linda Yearsley, one of the fabulous demonstrators in our group, gave some terrific ideas on using the Big Shot. I’ll definitely have to put a Video Tutorial together soon for some of these! (Or if you’re a LovenStampfuls Demonstrator, be sure you ask me for the April event DVD!)

Another fellow demonstrator, Tammie Rundle, shared some samples from a technique she learned the previous weekend at the Stampin’ Up! Regional event in Milwaukee (yet another demonstrator perk!).

For this Tempting Turquoise card, Tammie started with a piece of Window Sheet stamped with Staz-On ink, added Crystal Effects to the back side, then dropped some Classic Ink reinker into the Crystal Effects, swirled the ink, sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds, then pressed a piece of crinkled tissue paper over the whole back. Trim the edges, and mount as shown! (whew, that was a whirlwind description of a pretty complicated technique. I think I’m sensing another upcoming Video Tutorial ;-)

Another great sample were these cute spring candy sticks, made by Liz Orr. I loved the idea so much that I used them for my Make N Take project at a community event last night!

These use the smallest flower from the Flower Folds Big Shot die, then a 1″ Circle Punch piece to cover the peanut butter cup. It’s hard to find the spring colors now that Easter is over, but they’re still cute with regular colored PB cup wrappers. Gotta love a chance to dress up simple popsicle sticks!!

Finally, here’s a shot of some LovenStampfuls demonstrators working on the Make N Take project. Definitely a fun way to spend 2 hours on a Saturday morning!!

If you’ve ever considered becoming a demonstrator, this is a great time to sign up! Be sure to check out the details for the Starter Kit special on my website, and let me know if you have any questions!
