At my workshops, people start to roll their eyes and laugh when I get to the end of every project, because I invariably use the phrase, “just one more thing”, just when they think the card or scrapbook page is finished.
But really, I find that the “one more thing” is often the difference between me looking at my card and thinking, “eh, it’s okay,” and me looking at my card and thinking, “yup, now it’s done!”
That was certainly the case here when I used the upcoming Matchbox Messages stamp set (113800, $25.95, available beginning April 1st!) and the Matchbox Bigz XL Die (114890, $42.95, also coming April 1st!). The ‘Celebrate’ stamp was stamped on the Whisper White tag layer (cut from the Matchbox die), and then layered on the Baja Breeze Patterns Designer Series Paper tag, also cut from the die.
But the card didn’t look quite finished until…
I added in the brads at the ends of the swoopies on the tag (yup, ‘swoopies’ is a technical term, be sure to write it down so you don’t forget 😉
So there you have it, “just one more thing!”
