This is one of my all-time favorite projects. It was patterned after a sample presented at Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership Conference last January (yet one more reason to become a demonstrator ;-)
The panels are Stampin’ Up!’s On Board Book Basics (small) and the papers and embellishments come from a retired Simply Scrappin Kit, but you could use any Simply Scrappin kit if you wanted to make this project on your own.
The letters at the top are the Sticky Cuts letters with the Fine Cosmo Glitter (yummy!) and those are Jumbo Pewter Eyelets set to string the ribbon.
I love printing black and white photos–the stark lack of color really helps the subject’s expression to stand out, and Abby’s inner joy really shows in these photos. (wow, is that sappy or what?! ;-)
The photos were taken while ON the Mad Hatter Teacup ride at Disney World last Christmas. I was spinning and photographing at the same time (stomach churning at the thought!). If you look at the top photo, you can see her hair flying all over the place as we spun.
