I can’t believe how long it’s been since I posted many blog posts. I’m so sorry! It’s been busy. I’m sure we’ve all been busy. Right?
After Thanksgiving it was gingerbread houses at school. My daughter’s fourth grade class made gingerbread houses to raffle as a school fundraiser. They Adopted a family going through rough times And bought Christmas presents for all their kids.
Then we had piano recitals. This was Tucker’s first one but I think It was Abby’s 10th recital. They both did a great job
There is an ice skating show in there too. His a picture of Abby’s team. Their costumes look terrific on the ice. And they skated to music from Grease.
We also did 12 days of Christmas gifts for the kid’s teachers. Each day they had a tree with a number of items based on the Christmas song 12 days of Christmas. We didn’t give any leaping lords though. Our gifts were more along the lines of chocolate covered pretzels.
The first day I made gift bags and used the gift bow die for the big shot to cut red fleece. They looked incredible! I glued them together with hot glue (it’s magic).
We also had a birthday party in there. The theme was sky landers. My favorite part was the cake. Gotta love Pinterest for ideas.
Then we’ve had some really fun snow and good chances to play outside. We even made a snow cave in the front yard.
Our six-month-old puppy pepper is one tired puppy.
Then another gingerbread house at home. Because we had so much fun with the ones at school.
I also held Card Ministry work day at church where we made a huge box of birthday cards and anniversary cards. Here are the birthday cards we made for kids and for some teens.
Do you like the sneak peek from the Occasions Mini catalog on that team card? That catalog will be available online January 3 for ordering. I can’t wait!
Finally we had more snow. I even got to go cross-country skiing with our puppy.
And then some very sad news. The last two days I’ve spent some time at the hospital with my stamping friend Becky. She’s in very serious condition following a stroke. If you could please say a prayer for her and her family, I would appreciate it.
Becky was just giving me a hard time about my lack of recent blog posts. :) So I decided it was time. I need to do some catching up. Becky would want that.
As we finish up the last couple days of school and then get ready for holiday travel and family time, let’s all remember the things that are important throughout our year. Family, friends and special memories together.
I wish the very best, for you and your family and friends this Christmas season.
Happy Stamping!
