Good for Photos of More Than Just Birds

I’ve posted a few of these photo books lately, and I wanted to share one more.  This sample uses a Last Chance Big Shot Die: Bird w/Leaves and Flower (113465).   There aren’t too many Big Shot dies retiring, but this is one that I’ve enjoyed using.

And yes, you could put photos of ANYTHING in this book… it’s not exclusive to bird photos.  Although I do have some friends who have enough feathered friends photos to fill it. (try saying that 5 times fast) :-)

photo-book-openYou can find directions for these photo books on one of my previous blog posts.  They’re a quick way to put together a few of the Stampin’ Up! Clear Translucent Medium Envelopes (102619) and have a nifty way to share a few photos.

I used the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set for accents along with the Rough Type Alphabet and the 3/4″ Circle Punch to add the book title.  The Scallop Circle Die Cut (courtesy of my Big Shot Die Cut Machine) is textured using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder from the Summer Mini Catalog.

Finally, the Corduroy Brads in Kraft were used to hold the whole book together.  They’re also on the Last Chance list, and they’re 25% off–pretty nice  :-)

It’s also one of the projects that my Stamps in the Mail Club members will make with their June kits–did you see the Latte card they’re also making? (yes, you can still sign up for Round 16 of Stamps in the Mail right now–you haven’t missed out yet!)
