A La Card Ideas (no shoeboxes were harmed)

Last week I held my popular “A La Card” Class (ha ha… it’s a pun, get it?). This is a great chance for me to clear out my stores.

I put together shoeboxes (yes, literally–I raided my closet to get the boxes), each with all the supplies to make a card. The best part for me is that the cardstock is already cut–it’s left over from a past workshop or class project! All I have to do is design for a new stamp set.

Then everyone comes and picks the cards they want to make. Oh, and then after class I have to return all the shoeboxes.

Here’s one using the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set.

The cardstock for the Fifth Avenue Floral card might look familiar if you’ve been a stamper for awhile… it’s Pink Pirouette, a retired In Color that will be RETURNING (yay!) on July 1st with the Color Renovation.

The next card features  Trendy Trees. This stamp set is really cute–perfect little accent or centerpiece for pretty much any occasion. Plus it includes several phrases (thanks so much, etc.) so it’s a flexible set to add to your stamp collection.
