Movers & Shakers Curly Label Ideas

One of the big questions at my Open House last weekend was, “how the heck does this thing work?” So I created a sample on the spot to show what this die can do!

This is what I created. I started with a piece of Pretty in Pink 6×12 cardstock and let the Movers & Shakers Curly Label die cut and score my card for me. I forgot to put my strip of Bella Rose Designer Series Paper on at the same time as the cardstock, so I actually just put a 2×5″ strip of the paper across the open part of the die and put it through my Big Shot. Even though I was using a scrap, the paper cut just fine! So no, you don’t have to use a whole piece of 6×12″ cardstock to make this die work.

For the embellishments, I added a layer of Riding Hood Red cardstock inside the card, punched the front bottom edge of the card with the Eyelet Border Punch and stamped and punched the greeting using the Curly Punch Die (you can see it through the hole). Last embellishment? A piece of Old Olive 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon.
