What’s the size on the last card you made? Was it a half-sheet card? Was it a square? Was it something sized entirely differently? I get questions sometimes about how I create my samples for Stamps in the Mail Club, and I realized that one of my favorite “creating” tactics is to think outside the box: What if the card size isn’t a half sheet? What if it has an unexpected twist?
I like creating things that are a combination of expected and unexpected. It doesn’t do to throw people way off track – but something that feels a little bit different often goes over really well. That’s what I like about these little note cards that Shelli Gardner (President and co-founder of Stampin’ Up!) shared at our Leadership Conference in Orlando.
(And by the way – I just realized that I never posted my Leadership Conference photos from this year on my blog! Ack! And we had such a good time in Orlando! I’ll be sure to get those shared soon :))
