Personally, I’m just finishing up with the last of the Girl with a Dragon Tattoo trilogy, and had to pick up the final Harry Potter book again because the movie stops right in the middle and I can’t remember what happened at the end!
But we love to read with our kids, so one of the pages of my 2011 family calendar in My Digital Studio had to be about reading:
I admit, my fav picture on this page is the one at the top left with our son laying on the carpet reading a comic book. There’s a great story with the picture. Just before this picture was taken, we had some friends over at our house along with their middle school aged children. One of the boys had been reading a cartoon book in exactly the same place and pose. When they left, my son (age 2 at the time) had to go over and be JUST like the big kids and read his own comic book.
If you haven’t yet, be sure to check out the other pages for my 2011 family calendar!
Hi Meg…. have your read to your children any of the Llama, Llama books. I love reading them out loud to some friends’ children. Llama Llama red pajama is the first one I think.
Take care. Chris in Colorado
Hi Chris! I can’t imagine why you would like llama books ;-) Just kidding–we actually love those books. My son got Llama Llama Red Pajama for Christmas this year, since he loves reading it so much at his grandma’s house. Plus it’s always fun to do ‘theatrical’reading!
BTW, my gorgeous alpaca yarn (thanks!) is turning into a really terrific knitted cowl. I’ll post a picture when it’s done.
Take care, Meg
