Going, Going, Gone: Big Top Birthday & the Matchbox Die

Are you ready for the current Stampin’ Up! catalog to retire on May 31st?  I’m not, but I am looking forward to the new catalog on June 1st 🙂  In the meantime, I’m trying to share all the rest of the ‘retiring’ projects that I have to show you!  Here’s a fun little bureau box that I created for a hostess gift at my workshop last week, featuring the retiring Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper (see it online) and the retiring Matchbox Die (see it online).

To make the bureau, just cut and fold TWO of the Matchbox Die pieces, and stack them together to make the two drawers.

The box top also uses the Beveled Windowpanes (see them online) which will soon be retired.  Both the windowpanes AND the Filigree Brads (see them online) are on sale — 40% off, while supplies last (or through May 31).

Wish you had more ideas for the beveled windowpanes before they retire? Here are some fun cards on my blog.

Looking for more reasons that you “NEED” the Matchbox Die?  Here are several project ideas.

Looking for more Big Top Birthday ideas? Here’s a quick & easy gift using this fun paper.

Lastly, have you seen everything that’s to be retired after Thursday?? Check the ideas I’ve been sharing!  Or if you still need the retiring lists (and the sale details) you can find them here.

Happy Stamping!

    • Hi Susanne — Thanks for your kind words! I’m sorry about the Matchbox Die, but we no longer carry it in the US either. You might mention to SU Germany that you’d love to see carry it sometime, since they won’t know if we don’t mention it to them. Sorry for not being able to help more directly. (but hello to my stampin’ sisters in Germany!!) -Meg
