Here’s the schedule for Founder’s Circle… wake up early, visit with friends, do a little stamping, enjoy the beautiful outdoors, eat great food, take in a show, go to bed, wake up and repeat. It’s bliss!
I realized that I hadn’t filled you in on the “look” of Founder’s Circle this year, so let me share some photos of the treats in store for us this week. And yes, I do mean yummy treats!
We have group “teams” that Stampin’ Up! organizes us with for the opening dinner. Our group is the Mountain Taffy’s.
And beginning on the first night, we received our first pillow gift! The inside of this fun bag is filled with products from the Occasions Catalog that will come out late this winter. I can’t show you the products, but I can show you some stamped samples (stay tuned)!
Each of us has a name plaque on our doors:
And this year’s Gathering Place (a huge room set up for hanging out, visiting and sharing stamping ideas) is stocked with snacks, water, couches, all kinds of goodies.
Including a Make Your Own Granola station!!
How fun is this idea? Little mason jars tagged and ready to fill with whatever we want. Definitely good to take on a hike or just sit and snack.
And the flowers are incredible — they smell like a garden!
Some sweet inspiration for our new (unreleased) sneak peek items from the upcoming Occasions Catalog. I love this little display tag box!
Aren’t these flowers gorgeous?
And so cool — that Pool Party stamped smudge in the background is actually a stamp! The image comes out just like in the picture every time — so easy to get that “freeform” watercolor effect…every time!
And tables to stamp at, of course! We have Make N Take projects to create, so the supplies are all here and ready to use.
On the first full day at Founder’s Circle, we went out for a hike and ended up shopping. I have no idea how that happened… but it was an absolute treat to sit for a 4 hour lunch break in a gorgeous city park just outside the entrance to Zion National Park. Oh! And I bought a cute dress that I can hardly wait to wear in the fall!
Back to the hotel for JAMMIE NIGHT and the always-favorite card swap.
Just picture in your head… 120 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators lining the hallway of the hotel, all swapping stamped card ideas. And let me tell you, these cards are FABULOUS. I have so many ideas to use for classes and events!!
Finish that off with a little bit of dessert and a chance to hear from some inspiring demonstrators, and it’s a full day!
Down to the last drop.
Or so we thought…back in our rooms was another pillow gift!
Inside the elegant wooden tube with the fabulous tag was an infinity scarf — I can’t wait to see it modeled!
And that pretty much filled every minute of the day… next post, Kanab facility tours and a lesson on how Stampin’ Up! makes the fabulous rubber stamps!!
Happy Stamping!
