Convention is coming… can I get an extra 24 hours?

One of my favorite events of the year — Stampin’ Up! Convention — is just around the corner!  Actually, it’s just around the weekend, since I head out to Salt Lake City early next week for 5 days of stamping adventures with my fellow Demonstrators.

So here’s my question: Can I get an extra 24 hours between now and then?  There are just a few more things I want to finish!  Among those few are my Swap Cards, all stamped but not assembled.  If you’re new to stamping, a “swap” is a card front that you design, make a whole bunch exactly the same, then take to an event and trade for other swaps from other people.  The cool thing is that I only come up with one idea, then go home with a whole bunch of new ones.

Fortunately there are tray tables on the airplane… I’ve definitely been known to use them to finish up projects somewhere over Kansas.  Another funny thing?  I’m not the only one!  There are often quite a few demonstrators with their SNAIL out on the flight.

Supply Highlights:

  • Best of Everything stamp set (yup, a new one!)
  • Island Indigo, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade In Color card stock (NEW In Colors)
  • Trimtastic Big Shot Die (for the scallop border)

So if you’re going to be stamping or gluing on a flight to Salt Lake City next week, watch for me–I’ll have some Swap Cards ready to trade!

Happy Stamping!

  1. LOL! A portion of the Wisconsin contingent will also have their trays occupied with card stock and adhesive somewhere over Kansas. Boy, I’m glad I’m in good company!
