Love the Weather: Jeans & a T-Shirt, Stampin’ Style

Are you having great weather where you live this week?  Wow–we are enjoying temps in the low 70’s and sunshine all day.  My favorite weather is “jeans & a t-shirt” weather, so I’m loving this!

Plus I have a sweet & quick way to turn a plain tshirt and jeans into the ones that your daughter actually wants to wear… you know, the ones that go from the dryer to her body and never actually make it to the drawer!

These little Scallop Circle flowers were easy to create from Scallop Circles cut with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine.

I used the scallop circle piece from the Pennant Die (about 2-1/2″ across) for the flowers and cut 2 scallop circles for each blossom. (have you seen some of my other Pennant Die projects?)

Fold the scallop circle in half, then gather in the center to make the flower more dimensional.  I used my sewing machine to stitch an ‘x’ across two folded scallop circles to make the flower, then added a cut circle in the center.

These are really simple–you could also stitch by hand. Every little girl needs an outfit with extra shabby chic accents. Maybe every big girl, too!
